There are less than 3 weeks until the Salvation Army drops off gifts and food across Houston, Henry and Geneva counties, and they need your help.
The challenge Salvation Army faces is an extreme need for Angel Tree adoptions. There are still more than four hundred children that could go without presents this Christmas.
Through Angel Tree adoption, sponsors pick out a needy child or family and buy Christmas Gifts for them. It can be done individually or along with family or co-workers.
Some parents even pick out children whose age and gender match those of their own kids. To help, you can stop by the angel tree at the mall and adopt an angel or two.
If you're outside Dothan and can't make it to the Angel Tree you can call the Salvation Army at (334) 792-1911 to adopt an angel.
