It was a secret everyone in the Enterprise High School bleachers was about to find out.

Corbyn Wile was about to be crowned homecoming queen.

But while most high school girls were dreaming of the title, Corbyn was dreaming of beating a surprise no one knew about.

Wile, a senior at Enterprise High School, said, “I haven't been to school. I've been going through my cancer treatments.”

But she did keep going to school, as much as she could.

Enterprise High School Principal Matt Rodgers said,”It was her goal to make it five days a week, but she's had some complications in recent days.”

Dad Scott says the diagnosis was the worst day of their lives, but believes there's always good news around the corner.

Scott Wile said, “Believe in the fact that you can get better.”

For the Wiles, good news came Monday.

Corbyn said, “Monday I was told I was I’m done, so I’m cancer free.”

Cancer free, but still fighting for a cure.

Principal Rodgers said, “As of this week, we had collected 27 hundred dollars to send to Children's Hospital in Birmingham.”

Money Corbyn hopes will help other fighters fighting.

Corbyn said, “There are stronger people than me. They are my heroes. I’ve been through tough, but they've been through tougher.”
