Sam's Club is Giving Back to Military

Sam's Club is doing what it can to help military members affected by the shut down.

The store is allowing military families and veterans to shop their stores without a membership fee.

Due to the government shutdown, military commissaries are closed limiting what families can buy from their home.

But Sam’s Club wants those affected by the shutdown to still be able to get any groceries and supplies they need.

"Building a community is important to Sam’s Club. Those folks do good serve and give back to the community; they protect our country. So we are taking a stance and we think that it’s the least we can do," said Sam’s Club membership manager, D’Wayne Miles.

Sam's Club representatives say they will continue to help military families until the government reopens.
