WARNER ROBINS, Ga. (AP) -- A small group of airmen from Robins
Air Force Base are about to be welcomed back home.

The Telegraph newspaper reports (http://bit.ly/tjxyTI ) that
about 25 members of the 5th Combat Communications Group at Robins were among the last to leave Sather Air Base in Baghdad before it was turned over to the Iraqis.

The unit, more commonly known as the 5th Mob, helped establish
Sather when the war started, and in recent months has been
responsible for winding down operations.

The unit is a part of the 689th Combat Communications Wing
stationed at Robins.

Robert Talenti, spokesman for the 689th, says the Robins troops
are returning through Germany and their arrival time in Georgia is
uncertain, but he expects it to be sometime Sunday.
