Amendment Number Nine on the 2012 Florida Ballot deals with property taxes and the widows of veterans killed in action.
If passed, it would give exemption of a partial or total nature to widows of military veterans or first responders regarding property taxes.
Supporters such as Republican Representative Shawn Harrison say that it will help out families in need, while the opposition says that money is needed for schools and local governments to function.
