Fort Rucker soldiers turn to community service by cleaning and beautifying a Wiregrass community.

From 8 am to 12 pm soldiers were painting and cleaning up the Daleville Public Library, the Daleville Community Center and the Daleville Senior Center. City officials are very pleased with the much needed help. Some believe that this is bridging the gap and building a better relationship between Fort Rucker and Daleville.

"It just makes it wonderful, I'm just very thankful and very blessed that we have these soldiers here," said Laura Lee Leger, the director of the Daleville Senior Center.

Fort Rucker does plan to do more community service events in the future for the Daleville community.
