The Daleville High School JROTC Rifle Team is bringing home national honors.

Their Sporter Rifle Team ranked 2nd in the nation in a competition against 1,600 different schools across the United States.

Student, Josh Rains on that team placed 4th individually.

Their precision team also ranked high, coming in at 7th place.

"We're real proud of our Daleville High School Rifle Team. We think that's the biggest athletic win in the history of our school, in fact we know it is so we're real proud of them,” says their instructor LTC (Ret.) Ralph Aaron.

The Daleville Rifle Team has won 32 state championships throughout school history.
