September 25th will be the last Wiregrass Honor Flight and they're about $8,000 short of funding the trip.

Patriot Guard Riders are traveling across the Wiregrass to different communities encouraging residents to give to the cause.

Contributions will help send local World War II veterans to see their monument in Washington D.C.

“We need to get these guys up there to see something that’s going to be amazing for them. It’s going to be a heartfelt opportunity for these guys to really get to see something,” says Patriot Guard Rider Lee Still.

They're also asking those who cannot donate to join them as they send off the veterans and greet them back at the Dothan Regional Airport on September 25th.

If you'd like more information on how to donate call (334) 369-9090.
