Britain's top court backs Assange's extradition

Britain's Supreme Court has endorsed the extradition of WikiLeaks chief Julian Assange to Sweden.

The top court ruled Wednesday that Assange should be sent to the Scandinavian country to face sex crimes allegations.

Assange can conceivably appeal the decision to the European Court of Human Rights but lawyers say such a move is unlikely to stop his extradition for long.
