The White House has released 100 pages of documents about the crafting of its public talking points about the deadly assault on a U.S. diplomatic post in Benghazi, Libya last September.

The emails show the White House requested only minor edits to the CIA's early drafts, but most of the objections came from the State Department.

Then-CIA Director David Petraeus (peh-TRAY'-uhs) objected to the final version saying it should include more details.
