Tallahassee Asian Coalition Raises Funds for Japan

People in Tallahassee are doing their part to help the victims in Japan.

A restaurant is donating a percentage of its sales to the island country.

The Azu Lucy Ho's Restaurant on Apalachee Parkway will donate 10 percent of its sales from Monday, March 21, through Wednesday, March 23, to help the Asian Coalition of Tallahassee relief fund for Japan.

It's just one of several restaurants supporting the cause.

"Japan is a major ally in the United States and they're our friends,” said chairman Clyde Diao. “We need to help our friends. When you see the suffering that the Japanese people are going through, we need to do something about it."
