Taiwan Finds Radiation on Imported Japanese Beans

It's the first case of radiation found on Japanese imports amid a crisis at a nuclear power plant damaged by an earthquake and tsunami a week ago.

Japanese officials previously said radiation was detected in spinach and milk produced near the damaged Fukushima nuclear power complex.

The official from Taiwan's Cabinet-level Atomic Energy Council spoke Sunday on condition of anonymity because he is not authorized to deal with the press.
