"For the millinery hats, we are looking at the design, the style, what is in season and all the key colors for this year. For the creative hats, we are actually looking for something that is a little bit different, a little bit exciting, a little bit quirky and maybe a little bit over-the-top," said Nicola Gibson from the show's judging panel.
At the end of the competition, a designer from Dubai and her inspired design took home the 8,000 U.S. dollar-prize after scooping the most creative hat gong.
