President Obama met with Japan’s 6th prime minister in five years Monday to strengthen ties.
One of the main issues discussed was recent aggression by North Korea and how the two countries should address it.
The president said those actions are a sign of weakness. He and Japan Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda also reached an agreement to shift some 9,000 U.S. Marines that are stationed in Japan to other parts of the Pacific.
