Possible Negotiations Between Taliban and Afghanistan

Pakistani militants have torched tanker trucks filled with supplies for U.S. troops in Afghanistan.

In less than a week, six American convoys have been attacked in an effort to keep supplies from reaching NATO forces battling Taliban fighters.

As the war in Afghanistan enters its 10th year, there's word that the Taliban is negotiating a deal to lay down their arms in exchange for a part in the Afghan government. They also demand all NATO and U.S. forces be withdrawn.

Public support for the war is slipping in the U.S. and Western Europe. The Netherlands has pulled out its troops, the first NATO country to exit. The Canadians are next to withdraw.
