Olympics to Open with Great Britain/New Zealand Soccer

The London Olympics will begin with Britain playing New Zealand in women's soccer at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium on July 25, two days before the opening ceremony.

The 2012 host team was drawn on Tuesday in Group E to face New Zealand as well as Cameroon and Brazil.

Reigning Olympic champion United States was drawn with France, Colombia and North Korea in Group G.

In Group F, World Cup champion Japan was drawn with Canada, Sweden and South Africa.
