LONDON (AP) -The couple sat down with advisers today to talk about things like the date, the place and the dress.
A royal spokesman says the two plan to be closely involved in
organizing all the details. But palace officials say the details
won't be announced until other members of the royal family, the
bride's parents and the government have been consulted.
The second in line to the throne and his long-term girlfriend
will marry next spring or summer.
As for where, the front-runners are considered to be Westminster Abbey or St. Paul's Cathedral, where William's parents Prince Charles and Princess Diana married in 1981.
There's also the question of who will pay. Funds may come out of
the money provided by Parliament to meet official royal expenses,
the queen's household allowance or her personal wealth. Taxpayers
will be asked to foot the bill for security, if nothing else.
