15 years ago this week the international space station opened their hatches for the very first time.
The one million pound spacecraft was built by a partnership of 16 nations in 19-98.
Those nations include the United States, Canada, the UK, and Russia.
At full capacity, the space station includes six laboratories that provide enough living space for a crew of seven.
