Giant Lufthansa Jet Arrival at Miami

Miami International Airport joined a shot list of destinations for the world's longest passenger jet.

German airline Lufthansa started flying a Boeing 747-8 Intercontinental jet between Miami and Frankfort, Germany Thursday. The flight is scheduled for two days a week, Thursday and Friday.

Previously Los Angeles and Washington, D.C. were the only U.S. cities Lufthansa served with the aircraft.
