The pace of deadly fires in Australia has eased slightly-- but officials say that the threat is not over yet.
The fire danger in the state of New South Wales was downgraded from 'catastrophic' to 'very high,' but experts warn that temperatures are expected to shoot back up again on the weekend.
Meanwhile, around 15-hundred volunteers have turned out to help firefighters battle more than 100 fires still burning in the region.
