The driver was behind the wheel of a bus carrying 26 passengers when a collapsed lamppost smashed through the windshield.
He was hit and his spleen ruptured, but he still managed to avoid another catastrophe by steering the bus to the side of the road and slowing it down.
The bus stopped once it hit a guardrail.
The driver was taken to the hospital to get treated for the ruptured spleen.
