China Lifts Ban on Video Game Consoles

China has lifted its ban on selling video game consoles.

This will allow Sony, Nintendo and Microsoft to enter china's video game market.

It had sales of nearly 14 billion dollars last year, mostly for games on personal computers.

The ban was put in place in 2000, after the government claimed the games adversely affected the mental health of china's youth.
