MONTERREY, Mexico (AP) -- An official in Mexico's northwestern
state of Sinaloa says the dismembered bodies of four young men have been found in black garbage bags near a high school.
Sinaloa prosecutor's office spokesman Martin Gastelum says the
severed body parts of the men were stuffed into 11 bags and dumped
about 200 feet (60 meters) from the school. He says the men were
ages 20 to 25.
Gastelum say the men were abducted Tuesday by masked assailants
in the city of Navolato.
A prosecution official from the northeastern state of Nuevo Leon
said Saturday that the bodies of five men in the same age range
were found near a middle school outside the city of Monterrey. The
official was not authorized to be quoted by name.
There was no sign the incidents were related.
