LONDON (AP) - Royal officials say the wife of Prince Charles has
broken her leg while hiking in Scotland.
Clarence House says the 62-year-old royal was walking in the hills when she slipped Wednesday, suffering a fracture. The break was confirmed by an X-ray on Thursday.
Clarence House says that although doctors have advised her not
to put any weight on her left leg she still intends to carry out her official engagements.
Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, has been staying at Birkhall, Prince Charles' private home on the queen's Balmoral estate in Scotland.
