An estimated 100,000 fans crowded into a convention hall in London for the annual Movie & Comic Con.
This year organizers moved the convention into both halls of a convention venue called Earl’s Court and claimed the attendance has more than doubled.
More than 100 guests from movies and TV attended along with 90 comic book writers and 60 authors.
Jill Ubdegrove, of London Movie and Comic Con Marketing said, "We've got the cosplayers, we've got the gamers, we've got people who are interested in TV and film and want to meet their heroes. So many people come here for so many different reasons that it's just trying to cater for that now."
The biggest celebrity there was former president of Marvel Comics, Stan Lee.
Lee said, "The Marvel movies are just about the biggest money-making movies of all. And you know it's funny, I keep thinking DC could probably make a lot more money with Superman and Batman if they announce that I'd have a cameo in one of them. People wouldn't believe it, they'd have to visit the theater just to see it."
