DOTHAN, Alabama – A Houston County Circuit Court judge was unsympathetic to a former Dothan firefighter’s claim that the TV show “Breaking Bad” influenced him to make methamphetamine and sentenced him Friday to 14 years in jail, according to a report in The Dothan Eagle.

Elmo Boyd, 41, who was initially arrested in January 2012 along with 44-year-old Clarence Ray Griffith, pleaded guilty in November to a charge of possession and manufacturing methamphetamine.
