Parts of the Wiregrass received some moderate and heavy rains over the weekend.

The potential for rain had been predicted days in advance, and parts of the panhandle of Florida were placed under a Flash Flood Watch early Saturday morning to prepare for the potential of rain.

Through Sunday, here are some of the rain totals from across the area:

Troy Airport: 0.78"
Dothan Airport: 0.65"
Ozark: 0.57"
Marianna Airport: 0.56"
Andalusia-Opp Airport: 2.24"

Later, on a much drier Sunday, some parts of the area saw a colorful sunset for the first evening of Fall 2013.
