Vice President Joe Biden is calling on Congress to act on the administration’s proposals to prevent gun violence.
Speaking to the National Association of Attorney's General Wednesday (2/27) he argued the American people are demanding action. He called for universal background checks, a new assault weapons ban as well as standardized mental health training for teachers.
Biden also said voters in Illinois spoke on Tuesday when they chose a strong advocate of gun control in a primary election.
