It's known for its tri-color appearance and dominating retail shelves on Halloween: candy corn!

Candy Corn dates back to the late 19th century, where each piece was originally made by hand. Candy Corn is mostly made of sugar, corn syrup, wax, artificial coloring and various other ingredients.

The confection is commonly sold on Halloween, although there are other variants such as “Reindeer Corn” and “Bunny Corn” made for other major holidays.
