Two men are behind bars after an incident in Henry County early on Sunday morning. Mason Cole Battles, 22 years old, and 19-year-old Judson Walton Buchanan have been charged with attempted murder and first-degree robbery.

Police say the incident occurred around 3:30 a.m. on Sunday morning at the Hardridge Creek Campground in northern Henry County, near Lake Eufaula. Battles and Buchanan injured Kelly Whitehurst while using a golf cart in an attempt to seat Whitehurst's boat trailer.

Whitehurst has already undergone hip surgery. She is still in the hospital recovering.
