Two Dead After Helicopter Crash in Florida Panhandle

Two people are dead after a helicopter crashed in the Florida Panhandle, just south of Tallahassee. It happened around 8p.m. Saturday night.

The pilot and one passenger were killed a second passenger survived and is hospitalized.

Investigators say the three were flying back to Tallahassee after visiting a restaurant near the coast.

The helicopter clipped a tree limb then crashed and landed on its top.

The tree limb took down a power line which hampered emergency worker efforts until the line could be turned off. The helicopter landed in a wooded and marshy area near the airport.
