Two people were arrested after they allegedly robbed the south-side K-Mart.
Dothan Police received a theft in progress complaint from the store on Friday, Sept. 13. Investigators say Christopher Ramos, 29, of Cottonwood and Sabrina Michelle Griffin, 19, attempted to leave with merchandise they did not pay for.
A store employee allegedly confronted the two outside of the business; Ramos pushed the employee out of the way and attempted to flee the scene.
Ramos was apprehended a short period later and the property was returned to the business.
Ramos and Griffin were both charged with third degree robbery. Bond for Ramos has been set at $15,000. Griffin’s bond has been set at $2,500.
