Trial Date Set For Former Dothan Attorney Charged With Theft

DOTHAN, AL - A trial date has been set for a former Dothan attorney charged with felony theft of property.

Deborah Seagle Jordan is accused of funneling money from a settlement check issued to a client into her personal account.

She's been free on $30,000 bond since her arrest in November of 2012.
The case is set for trial June 16th in Dothan.

Coffee County Circuit Judge Thomas head was appointed to hear the case after local judges rescued themselves.
