Three People Arrested for Allegedly Passing Counterfeit Bills in Chipley

CHIPLEY, FL -- Three people have been arrested in Chipley and charged with passing counterfeit money. The Chipley Police Department made the arrests on March 19th after stopping a vehicle they suspected was involved in the passing of the counterfeit bills.

25-year-old Kevin Andrew Kirk from DeFuniak Springs, 22-year-old Kelvin Nicholas Redmon from Westville and 27-year-old Kittie C. Vickers from Ponce de Leon have been charged with passing counterfeit bills.

Chipley Police report two stores received the counterfeit money. The suspects are also being investigated by several other agencies, incluing Bonifay, Holmes County, and Walton County law enforcement for passing counterfeit money.

The bills passed in Chipley were $20.00 bills. If anyone suspects they were presented with counterfeit money, call the Chipley Police Department at (850) 638-6310.
