The Wiregrass' little peanuts, were all out at the Peanut Festival today.

"To see all of my friends and a field trip."

"All of the people gather around to a fair and the fair is the most funnest!"

The kids seemed to understand why there is a festival.

"The peanuts."
"I love peanuts."
"You eat peanuts!"
"We get to eat peanuts and have fun."

That fun includes some furry friends.

"My favorite part is going to the zoo."
"I've seen animals."
"I fed the goats."
"I saw a giraffe!"
"Feeding the animals is my favorite.”

What lights up the Peanut Festival at night was the other source of their fun.

"I like riding rides."
"I like playing games."
"I like going on the scary rides."
"The swings are my favorite."
"Riding the Ferris Wheel because it's that high."

Some of the kids even remember lessons about farming.

"We see about chickens."
"We practiced milking cows."
"I got on the tractor."

At the end of the day all of the kindergarteners agreed, “We love the Peanut Festival!"

"It's the Peanut Festival, it's really fun you should come."
