Testimony Begins in 2006 Dothan Murder Trial

Testimony has started in Marcus Rivers' capital murder trial.

He's charged in the 2006 shooting death of Patrick Dixon. Prosecutors say Rivers shot Dixon during a robbery in Dothan.

If convicted, Rivers faces up to life in prison. He can't be sentenced to die because a judge ruled him mentally incompentent.

Two other suspects in the case have already been sentenced.

Testimony continues tomorrow.
