Suspect Returns to Crime Scene, Gets Busted

On December 9, 2013 the Dothan Police Department made a felony arrest following the recent investigation of an armed robbery that occurred at 616 North Oates Street, on December 8, 2013.

Investigators say that at approximately 11:45 pm on December 8, 2013, an unknown black male entered the Hobo Pantry convenience store and began concealing multiple items in his jacket. When confronted by one of the stores employees, the subject pulled a knife out, and then fled the scene prior to law enforcement arriving.

On December 9, 2013 at approximately 11:30 pm, investigators say the same subject returned to the business. The employee immediately recognized the subject as the individual that robbed the store the previous day and called the police. The subject was taken into custody by responding officers and has now been identified as William LeVander Hunt.

Hunt has been charged with first degree Robbery, his arrest now brings this case to a close.
