"Star Trek" Director Abrams to Direct Next Star Wars?

Hollywood is all abuzz over reports that J.J. Abrams will direct the next episode of Star Wars.

Several trade papers say the producer, who breathed new life into the Star Trek franchise for Paramount in 2009, will direct the Star Wars film "Episode VII."

Fans are waiting for Disney and Lucasfilms to release an official statement on the rumored deal.
