The patch for Soyuz TMA-08M, a mission that will carry two cosmonauts and one astronauts to the International Space Station as part of the Expedition 35 mission.
Astronauts and cosmonauts are preparing for a launch later today that will take them to the International Space Station.
Soyuz TMA-08M is set to blast off from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan on Thursday evening. The spacecraft, the 117th Soyuz to launch, will carry NASA astronaut Christopher Cassidy and Russian cosmonauts Pavel Vinogradov and Aleksandr Misurkin to the International Space Station.
The flight will use a new fast-track profile to the station that will take it to docking within a six hour period, as opposed to the typical two-day rendezvous procedure.
