The Barbour County Boys Basketball Team has been a staple at the Final 48 for nearly a decade. But, the Jaguars will have to wait another year to make a return trip to Birmingham.

Southside-Selma made several key plays in the fourth quarter to beat the Jaguars 52-4. With the win, Southside-Selma advanced to face Cottage Hill in the 3A Regional Final on Saturday.

Jeffrey Mack had 18 points to lead Southside-Selma, including six in the final minutes as his team was pulling away. Octavious Gulley added 14 points and Sammarkus Jones chipped in 13.

Travon Patterson led the Jaguars with 17 points.
