Snowstorm Brings Accumuations, Road Woes to Denver

A snowstorm that was expected to dump heavy snow in eastern Colorado is arriving in bits and pieces.

The National Weather Service said Tuesday high winds kicked up ahead of the snowstorm, and winter storm warnings are still up for the Front Range and blizzard warnings for areas of the Eastern Plains.

Reports say the snow storm really has not come together as expected.

Gusts of up to 64 mph were reported in southwestern Colorado.

Denver airport officials said Tuesday the spring storm has prompted about Three Hundred flight cancellations.
