Skunks Move into Fla. Home

PALM BAY, Fla. (AP) -- Several skunks have moved into a central
Florida home while the homeowners were on vacation. The couple
returned to a smelly surprise.

Stephanie and Bill Palieri said a window was left open during
their month long vacation and about 10 skunks squeezed in. The
skunks tunneled through walls, gnawing on kitchen cabinets and oven
wires inside their Palm Bay home.

Stephanie Palieri said five skunks walked through the kitchen
recently while she was enjoying her coffee.

The Palieris live on Social Security and don't have the money to
hire a trapper.

Florida Today (http://lb.vg/0FNiL ) reported local business
owners have been helping the family.

One trapper caught a skunk in their dryer and let it loose in
the forest without charging his usual hourly fee.
