The National Service has placed parts of Holmes, Walton and Washington counties Florida under a Severe Thunderstorm Warning until 2:00am Central Time.
Just after 1:10am, the Weather Service detected a strong line of storms that could potentially produce damaging winds up to or beyond 60 miles per hour. This complex of storms was moving to the southeast at 50 miles per hour.
Some of the communities that could be affected by this complex of storms include DeFuniak Springs, Bonifay, and Vernon.
