Santa Claus is coming to town...literally.
He and Mrs. Claus rolled into the Southeast Alabama Medical Center today to spread a little holiday cheer.
"We just love to do it...we did it once before and we found out that we get a lot more out of it than we gave you know."
Door by door they greeted a few little boys and girls and handed out some gifts a little early. Even though the trip from the North Pole was a long one Santa and Mrs. Claus love to visit Dothan.
"The weather...it's wonderful and Santa never lets me come with him when he does his runs but I get to come here...And boiled peanuts."
But that's not the only reason this pair comes to the Circle City.
"We just want to give back something..we've been blessed." And now they're passing that blessing along to people like Brained Clark and her daughter.
"I really was not anticipating when we came to the hospital that she was gone get to see Santa Claus." But just like that Santa Claus appeared.
"I'm thankful. There aren't a lot of good things that you hear about going on now so it's good to hear that you know that there are gonna be people out there who are gonna try to bring the holiday season to people who aren't able to be out in the world to enjoy it."
Making this Christmas one the Clark family will never forget.
