A news crew was attacked while reporting on a story in Rhode Island and it was all caught on camera.

Video shows Melissa Lawrence hurling a rock at the news photographer just missing his head on Tuesday (6/4). The crew then started to leave but Lawrence came out wielding a baseball bat. Then she sent her dogs after reporter Abbey Niezgoda.

The ABC 6 news crew was on a public street in Providence attempting to get Lawrence's reaction after the teenage boy who shot her daughter over the weekend turned himself into police.

But Lawrence didn't want to talk to police. The video shows Lawrence's commanding her two pit bulls to go after the reporter. They chased Niezgoda down a street and into a neighbors yard. She was treated for a bite on her forearm and received a tetanus shot.

Lawrence was arrested and faces felony assault charges.
