DOTHAN,AL--Dothan city commissioners will vote in the coming weeks on whether to launch designs for an indoor wellness pool at Westgate park and an outdoor pool and bath house at Andrew Belle Community Center.
Andrew Belle's pool closed about 10 years ago.
District one commissioner James Reading says he's been working to get a pool at the location for years.
"It feels good and from what I'm understanding this will not be your typical swimming pool. It will have the latest technology where you start at the shallow end and it slowly gets deeper and deeper we'll have the bath house and etc. etc."
Commissioners will vote on starting the designs in two weeks.
