Police Investigate Armed Robbery of Pepper's Restaurant

PANAMA CITY, FL - The Panama City Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that occurred at Pepper’s, located at 2061 M.L.K. Boulevard at approximately 12:30 am on December 24, 2012. Officers and detectives responded to the scene after an employee called 911. The last remaining employee of the restaurant closed the business and was walking to his vehicle behind the restaurant when four Hispanic males rushed towards him, each armed with handguns. The male’s faces were concealed with stocking ski style masks. The males had the employee reopen the business and robbed the victim and business of an undisclosed amount of currency. The males fled the restaurant on foot, but it is believed they entered an unknown vehicle parked a short distance away. The males are described only as being possibly in there 20’s and wearing dark clothing.
