Saquaya Lane scored 14 points, leading Opp to a 41-30 win over Daleville at the South Regional Basketball Tournament. Quanisha Stoudemire added 11 points, as the Lady Bobcats advanced to the 3A Regional Final on Saturday against Straughn.
Daleville hung tough for much of the game, but a 3-pointer from Savannah Gerber early in the fourth quarter sparked a run that helped Opp put the game out of reach.
No player for Daleville scored more than five points on the day. The Warhawks hit just 31 percent of their shots, including 23 percent from 3-point range and 33 percent from the free throw line.
