One person is dead after a shooting in Eufaula Tuesday night.
The Alabama Bureau of Investigation, the investigative division of the Alabama Department of Public Safety, is investigating a Eufaula police-involved shooting at the request of Eufaula Police Capt. Steve Watkins.
Barbour County Coroner Sidney Chapman Jr., says 26-year-old Cameron Massey, was pronounced dead at 5:20 p.m at Medical Center Barbour.
The shooting happened north of Eufaula on Highway 431.
According to Chapman, Massey died from a gunshot wound.
The investigation is ongoing and due to state law, details will not be released at this time.
When the investigation is complete, the ABI's findings will be turned over to the District Attorney for review.
