Six notable releases coming out on home video for the week of August 6, 2013.

Ducks, Foxes, Ponies, Cats, Dogs and Books—oh my! All of those and more are part of this week’s notable home video releases on Blu-Ray and DVD.

These are some of the notable releases for August 6, 2013 in Region 1 (North America) coming to retail on Blu-Ray and/or DVD.

Duck Dynasty: Season 3 (A&E Home Video, DVD Only) – This release includes complete third season of the popular reality show following the Robertson family. It also includes extended scenes as well as music videos and a look behind the scenes. The release contains all 13 episodes of the third season of the show.

Robin Hood: 40th Anniversary Edition (Disney, DVD & Blu-Ray, Rated G) – The animated musical version of the classic tale features anthropomorphic animals in the roles of Robin Hood, Little John and Sheriff of Nottingham. The Blu-Ray release contains an alternate ending as well as a bonus Mickey Mouse Short.

My Little Pony: Equestria Girls (Shout! Factory, DVD & Blu-Ray, Rated G) – This stand-alone movie features the lead character from the most recent animated series, Friendship is Magic, into the human world in the quest to recover a magical crown. Special features include a look behind-the-scenes, a karaoke mode and a printable movie poster.

The Sword in the Stone: 50th Anniversary Edition (Disney, DVD & Blu-Ray, Rated G) – Disney’s animated spin on the tale of King Arthur emerges from the Disney vault for this anniversary release. Extra features include an alternate opening to the movie and a pair of retro Disney shorts.

Oliver and Company: 25th Anniversary Edition (Disney, DVD & Blu-Ray, Rated G) – The animated animal feature featuring Billy Joel and Dom DeLuise is re-released for it’s 25th anniversary. Along with remastered video and sound, the release includes bonus features such as a making-of featurette and the theatrical trailers.

The Pagemaster (20th Century Fox, Blu-Ray, Rated G) – This 90s feature starring Macaulay Culkin and Christopher Lloyd combines both live-action and animation in a feature involving reading and adventure. Extra features include trailers, a music video and a making-of feature.
